When you are ready to begin a new design in Revit, create a model. Use any of the following methods: On the Home page, under Models, click New. Click File tabNew (Project). Important: Revit models are not backwards-compatible. Revit is great in the real world with real budgets with multiple people to coordinate with with office standard families ready to go. Not for school but it is a catch 22 because it is imperative that you learn BIM to get your first job.
